The Table Bay in Cape Town is continuing with the acclaimed waterfront property’s A Year of Culinary Delight with a beautiful Beef Fillet dish featuring inspiring ingredients to create a stunning meal of tender meat and sumptuous fresh vegetables – absolutely perfect in the lead up to and including Father’s Day on Sunday 21 June.
The Table Bay Food and Beverage Manager, Marc Weber suggests the Beef Fillet would “always be paired well with a great red wine but for Father’s Day, an amazing Indian Pale Ale style-beer is a perfect complement”.
“In Cape Town we are privileged to have the Darling Brew Warlord which is a beer that means business,” said Mr Weber.
“High in hop flavours including guava and lychee, grapefruit, pine and a hint of florals – a fabulous combination.”
Mr Weber said the IPA’s 9% alcohol content would leave one with a “warming feeling with a mild, well-rounded bitterness for the style, and elegantly balanced, plus a full mouthfeel, but not quite as heavy as one would expect”.
