Food lovers will be heading off to Norfolk Island again when the popular short-haul holiday destination for Australians kicks off its Taste Norfolk Island for the third year running in November.

Due to the wonderful successes of the first two years of this week-long event, Taste Norfolk Island will be back to serve up a feast of more amazing island settings, top food and fabulous wines – and more.

Norfolk Island has over recent years grown into a foodie destination, boasting 35 plus eateries, all offering an abundance of locally sourced fresh, organic and wholesome produce. Fresh fish, local beef, succulent pork and natural fruit and vegetables picked daily – there is so much on the island’s doorstep.

Add to the mix boutique products as Arabica coffee, handmade chocolates, honey, artisan cheese and an award-winning local winery and this place becomes an ideal close-to-home getaway for gastronomes.

Taste Norfolk Island is on from 28 November to 2 December 2016 and will again provide a platform in which everyone can enjoy a special line up of great events and activities including an Island Discovery Tour exploring the island’s culture and history.

The Norfolk Blue Tour provides guests with an encounter with famous resident, Mr Bull and other members of the herd on a 100 acre farm, which features the only windmill on the island. The Taste of Norfolk Tour takes guests behind the scenes with some of the local producers who will share inspirational stories about their passion for the island and product they offer.

Guests will sit down to a spectacular Thanksgiving Day Feast celebrating the tradition passed down over generations by the island’s Pitcairn and American Whaler ancestors.
